I'm essentially shameless I suppose... (no, not like Frank Gallagher)

What is so entertaining about watching a person in the throes of despair and confusion thrash about? Is it the suffering - and make no mistake, this lady suffers - that is the source of such pleasure?

I do think it is interesting that if one of us guys ask for a thread we originated to be closed, the mods do seem to step in and do it pretty quickly. But if you look back at some other threads that were contentious and the thread originator was a provider, it doesn't seem like they give the same consideration to them and close the thread for comment (when a provider asks for a thread to be closed).I don't think that's true. They did act rather quickly when I asked my thread to be closed in the past. The OP is the one that needs to request it though.
