I don't mind negotiating when I feel like my time is still being valued. And I probably wouldn't ever negotiate with a new friend.
Example
Lets say a providers fee is 100/hr (just an example)
Don't ask for a discount of $75/hr
Ask for $65/hh or 85$/45min
Just my $.02Originally Posted by CompanionSofia

While I'm inclined to agree with Mr. Bald Brotha on this matter, it depends on the lady. If the proposal is still doable, like his offer for 250 on a 350 rate, I can understand why a lady would take it. 250 is better than 0.
But personally, I've never appreciated a negotiator, especially one that I've never met before. With those I know that do their best to meet with me regularly, I have offered a special rate to make it easy for them. But I feel that's for me to initiate.
Mr. Quagmire said it best. This is a gentleman's hobby. Mostly because a gentleman understands that there's more to this than just an exchange of services. I'd like to think of it as a mutual exchange of happiness. You make her happy, she makes you happy.
