I don't have cable either so I threw a hammer at my neighbors satellite dish and The Stooges played on my TV.

But, be careful. You have to hit the dish dead-nuts center or you'll pick up Leave it to Beaver.

There is a cheaper alternative to cable where all TV shows and movies are free. All you need is a laptop or PC and an HDMI cable to connect them to your HDTV. There are a couple dozen sites where you can steam most TV shows, movies and even XXX porn to your HDTV for free. No need to even pay for cable, Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, Roku, Mohu Sky, Mohu Leaf, or anything else. Your PC does it all.
