So, a mean trick to collect another $33. This part I call stealing, and it is not a good thing in my book. $1, or $1000, stealing is a bad thing. What do you say?
By itself that is called suckering someone. Fair enough, I understand. Part of the game.
What upsets me is that before this thing began, this lady had spoken about her stress etc., need for house rent and a LOT of other issues, that we cannot discuss with others. We agreed to meet to talk to lots of personal and other issues for an extended period, no time limits. Some very, very serious talks, because the person was really upset, as some members will witness. Had gone through bad periods in several different ways, emotional, moneywise, and every which way.
So you understand why it hurts when this issue of trust is both used, and also broken so lightly for a few dollars. It is not the dollar value but the easy way of lying and taking the money.
What we were discussing was ways to get her out of the dead end of the present situation.
Serious ways, what options exist, what other careers, how to go about those choices.
A future career is worth many hundreds of thousands of dollars over a lifetime, and it does not involve me in the least.
That was one part.
Feeding her was another since she said she had not eaten all that much since becoming ill some while back.
Next, she was very stressed, and I massaged her back to help her de-stress because something bad had happened to her friend.
At this point, which I did not know was going to happen, she suddenly decided she had to go see this person, and to return in 2 hours. Took extra round trip taxi fare, never came back in 8 days.
What would you say that was, for someone who has been her longest, regular patron, since December? An honest thing to do, or a dishonest thing to do? It is ok for a first timer but is it ok to stiff a regular, is my question? What does it say about that provider?
Should not a Verified Provider be of a certain degree of reliability?
People here say NO, a VP designation means nothing at all, really. Then why have one? What difference does that make if BP and ECCIE have nothing to separate them? Why not depend on TER, if ECCIE is just a useless reference tool?
I have no problem being called an idiot, but my issue is that a service industry should have minimum standards of expectations, and internal corrections. Without some corrections, things just go downhill. If I make false accusations, that is very wrong. Therefore, I set down every detail. It is not right to mock someone witthout understanding why those details are there, like a court case.
