Part of me wants to do something nice for the victim, but most of me thinks it's none of my business of who she was.

I have learned my version of being aggressive isn't near hobby standards of aggressiveness. I once told a girl I was in an aggressive mood and she basically told me I could beat the Shit out of her. As far as screening goes, it may help out with sorting out LE, but some peoples crazy is impossible to detect. I was friends with a serial killer from around 16 to 25 and never realized. We sort of went our different ways and years later my parents called me to tell me he was all over the news. The fucked up thing is that his first victim was right around the time we met and the murder was extremely brutal. This was a kid that spent many days and nights at my parents house and they fed and cared for him. We were all shocked and had no clue how he could have hidden such a darkness from us.

I ran track and cross country for a Division I university. We always looked out for the girls on the women's team and we were quite protective of them. I too do not like the concept of supporting the stereotypical pimp... on the other hand, most of these women are adults and capable of making their own decisions in life.
So who am I (or anyone for that matter) to dictate how they spend the money that they earn... once they earn it, it is theirs to do with as they like, no matter how that might be.
