5. RATES - She was taken back by the reaction to her original ad rate of $300/hr. She is used to getting $400 in California and felt she had reduced the rate sufficiently for the Austin market. When she received the initial feedback from her City of Flakes posting, she reduced the rate to $230 on Friday and settled in at $250 today.
