Lol you're still stuck in the kid zone huh? Listen no I don't have kids but I work with a ton of people that do. You can add whatever permutation you like, the point wasn't about kids. It was about stay at home housewives with no skills and how risky that is. However, to answer your question I'd imagine you do what others do to make arrangements to drop kids off, pick kids up, or leave work to pick up sick kids. Like many people that I work with do.
If you don't have a professional job and you don't have that luxury then stay home, just be prepared to jump back in the work force at the earliest possible time. Again there are many single women out there holding it down for their families while at the same time working their asses off. Those are the women you should be advocating for, not those with transferable skills who also have the luxury to stay home. ;-)
