There is no P4P allowed at any event.

If folks tend to arrive as "singles," and leave as "pairs" (or even 3's or 4's) more power to them. Sometimes I feel much like Noah emptying the Ark (yes, I am old as dirt, but not older than dirt!)

Much as I encourage gents to let the new ladies know about events, I encourage ladies to inform gents the same way. Probably works especially well during slack time in sessions.

I look at these events as marketing and business development opportunities for the ladies, and a chance for the guys to see what a lady really looks like and to determine if he would like to meet the lady BCD for some fun.

No different than hanging out in any pick-up bar, except there is some P4P expected and there are NSA afterwards.

Some of us arrive single and leave the same way by design--but with a couple of numbers of ladies to see in the next few weeks.

It's been a while since I went to one but I remember them as being meet and greets designed for people to mingle and get to know each other with all talk of business a no no.....

I haven't been to one of CK's Meet & Greets in 10 years but the modus operandi has not changed one bit I would bet. Some men go there simply to size up the ladies for future possible encounters. Others go there to pick up the hottest woman, in their eyes, with whom to spend an hour. I'll bet mostly all the women attending the social would leave with a guy if an offer came their way. I remember many fun hours spent at the socials. But the socials are certainly not like the Blue Marlin bar in San Jose, Costa Rica.

It was a very lovely evening, indeed. I very much enjoyed putting faces to names. And also meeting some new ones.

There truly ARE some very lovely, interesting and amiable people on this board.

I plan on visiting Austin as well as San Antonio can't wait to catch up CK
