Enjoying The Job

Thank you for an informed reply, PSW1995.

The writer of The Brothel, before researching the Mustang Ranch, had been a volunteer in an outreach clinic/service on Time Square in NYC that was giving help to the teenage, runaway, street prostitute.

The book ended with her approval of the houses because the working girls were so much better off than the street girls she worked with in NYC, Even as a feminist who disapproved of prostitution, she could clearly see the harm reduction that comes with legalization and regulation.

I understand your resentment of the rent, the fees and the sharing of your earnings with the houses. I think your situation as a savvy, independent professional is hardly comparable to some helpless pimped out street girl. I think the Nevada model, with all its downsides, still offers a way to ply the trade with the most safety to the working girl, the client and to society at large.

Exactly.

As I've said many times, any lady who enters this profession has my highest regard and respect. With all the BS you have to put up with it can't be easy. Originally Posted by gfejunkie

I reserve that for the women (as well as men) that buckle down and educate themselves, develop a skill and are willing to work hard and earn my respect.

I don't think a self respecting woman sells her body without having explored all the other options and I have met more women taking this route that forgo other options without even trying than I have those that exhausted other options first.

Please ignore the Cat in the Hat attempts to hijack my thread.

We are talking about the job and brothels.

His comments are just troll bs. Please ignore and join the conversation.
Thanks!

I have been asked a variety of things as well as for several different things when undergoing screening but not a single lady has asked if I respect a hooker more than a woman with a degree and/or job.

Isn't this about the money and the sex?

I must point out the hapless pimped out girl isn't even on my level. ( which was mentioned thank you)

There are always ways out. But I'm honestly not interested in the hapless girl. We are talking about women who made the decision on their own to get into the business. Regardless of the reason. But my forced.

With decriminalization they don't need the houses. With the Internet girls could find a way out.

Decriminalization means that these forced women would have equal protection under the law.
Unions would wipe out the brothels.

Btw CIH I don't care what your preference is. Stay on subject and not something you threw out there.

That's funny! You should start a thread on what a Prostitutes Union would consist of and stand for. That would be entertaining.

CIH... Not responding to your fishing... And I am above a hapless girl since I was a grown woman with an education and decided to embark on this... That is my business and you have no place to try and say that we are the same. So please go away and stop trying to jack my thread.

So where were we?
Oh yes, enjoying the job and the benefits of decriminalization and unionization.

Not trying to pigeon hole and irk the pros.
