hahaha, angry little cunts aren't you. At this point four years ago there was no discussion of a brokered convention. . . but they have discussed it now. whats the main difference? oh yea, Trump is leading and his lead is growing.

You cunts can deny it if you want but its obvious, if Trumps lead holds and he has more states, more popular votes and more delegates than any other candidate, the Republican party will push the other candidates to stay in the race that way they can hand the nomination to someone like Rubio or Bush. Ex-NYer just handed your ass to you and you still don't get it. The party "leadership" cannot take the nomination away from Trump if he garners a majority of delegates by winning in the state-by-state primaries. Reince Priebus still predicts there will be a "presumptive nominee" by mid-April.

Before you stir up shit, you need to know what you're talking about and not just pop off like an ignorant cunt all the time.

It is a very real possibility that no one will get even 40% of the vote, let alone 51%. So, there is a pretty good likelihood of a brokered convention. You may also remember that 4 years ago, the Democrats were seriously talking about a brokered convention when it looked like neither Hillary nor Obama would get enough votes.

No two election season are the same. What's your point, mope?

If all the delegates are released and all of them vote for the second place guy (Cruz? Rubio?), then the second place guys gets 70% of the vote and becomes the first place guy. What don't you understand about that?

Trump may have a hardcore constituency (like IFFY) of 30% that he will never rise above. But he only looks good because the other 70% of the vote is split 9 ways.

The GOP aren't trying to push any candidates to stay in the race. Quite the opposite. They want the other candidates to drop out so Rubio or Cruz can kick Trump's ass.

You seem to think that Kasich supporters or Bush supporters are going to switch to Trump. Not likely. Trump will get 30% of the vote - hardcore assholes like IFFY. The other 70% will vote for anybody BUT Trump.

Hopefully, Trump will throw them his support unless he wants Hillary to win, as COG has theorized.

I don't think Romney can beat Hillary. That is the true criteria. Beat Hillary and pack the SCOTUS. Get three more guys like Scalia or Thomas and we could get America back. Originally Posted by DSK

I likely scenario is Trump ending up with about 40% of state delegates and popular vote, with the distant second (Cruz or Rubio) being around 15 - 20% and a bunch of others around 5- 10%. \

Would you be ok with a brokered convention in effect throwing out Trumps 40% for someone with 20%?

Ben Carson speaks on the secret Republican meeting discussing a possible "brokered" convention . .

Ben Carson responded to the report Friday morning, putting out a press release warning he may consider punishing the GOP for any efforts to rig the game against outsider candidates.

"If the leaders of the Republican Party want to destroy the party, they should continue to hold meetings like the one described in the Washington Post this morning," Carson said. "If this was the beginning of a plan to subvert the will of the voters and replace it with the will of the political elite, I assure you Donald Trump will not be the only one leaving the party."

And here's what Ben Carson said in last night's debate:

"...I spoke to Reince Priebus, and he assured me that the Washington Post writer had it all wrong, and that they're not engaging in anything to thwart the will of the people."

Try to keep up, suckclown... and while you're at it, why not try to stir up some equal-opportunity shit on the dimocrats too? Does Hildabeast have the coronation game rigged yet?
