I bet a huge number of the providers would drop out of the business if it were legalized. Just a question but how many of you are willing to drop a grand to format an LLC, file for a licence ( let's just say another $500 ), start paying federal and state taxes and an accountant or CPA to file them, work comp which is required and since it's a service industry a surety bond or insurance. Not to mention insurance to cover clients incase of an injury or God forbid an STD? The cost of doing a legit business would price you out of the game if it ran thing to $1000 an hour to cover all the shit the govt. would require. The govt would be nothing more than your pimp taking 70 plus percent of your hard earned money. It's simply not economicly viable

I don't think they would actually drop out, Ken. Those ladies would just continue to operate illegally. Legalizing prostitution would probably make very little difference to most prostitutes.
