The other day I took an available opportunity and SNATCHed Strawberry Skye for some late afternoon fun. I was inspired after hearing a song playing in the background at a restaurant while eating dinner. An image danced in my mind as the song played when I realized what the song was...

You could have a steam train
If you'd just lay down your tracks
You could have an aeroplane flying
If you bring your blue sky back
All you do is call me
I'll be anything you need
You could have a big dipper
Going up and down, all around the bends
You could have a bumper car, bumping
This amusement never ends
I want to be your sledgehammer
Why don't you call my name
Oh, let me be your sledgehammer
This will be my testimony

Obviously that is Sledge Hammer by Peter Gabriel. It has a good pounding rhythym that made me think of my ATF. But I think she would agree the beat is just a bit too slow for the pace we always seem to build up to. Depending on who I am with I enjoy a wide variety of music styles, but Strawberry Skye is a rock 'n roll girl and that really gets the party started.
Anything by ZZ Top or Metallica works well. An upbeat tempo with an unrelenting pace that pushes us both to the ultimate prize.
What works for you?
