I think I will watch MSNBC to get the most asinine assessment of this event that anyone could possibly dream up. Originally Posted by Jackie S

John S. Pistole's name is being mentioned as Comey's replacement. Pistole is the "former Administrator of the United States Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and a former Deputy Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He is currently the President of Anderson University" (Wiki).

Reporter Catherine Herridge is reporting that the timing of this action is directly related to the confirmation of Rosenstein as deputy attorney general two weeks ago. After being confirmed, and as Comey's immediate boss, Rosenstein reviewed Comey's actions and determined that he could no longer be an effective leader for the FBI; hence, he advised Comey's removal for the betterment of the bureau. Not sure anybody is naive enough to believe it but that is the story.

From my POV , elections matter. Trump can do whatever he wants as long as he has both Houses.

He loses one in 2018 and things will turn.

The FBI Director has no business in the courtroom, ...

... unless as a witness! (And if he makes himself a witness he's already fucked up!)

Comey didn't understand that .... perhaps now he does!

Investigators are not to be advocates for either side, and the statutes, regulations, and guidelines reflect just that FACT. That's a reason for the FBI Director to be a 10 year appointment. Originally Posted by LexusLover

Could be worse for comey. Hillary could've had him whacked. Originally Posted by Meow Mix Morris

I can just hear Bill's voice over the phone... "Hey, Jim. You like breathing?"

It's not that hard to figure out.

It is pretty funny to watch all of those dimretards who wanted Comey strung up last October now howling like a bunch of stuck pigs. LMAO!!!

It's amazing after months of this, the one crime that everyone agrees occurred was the illegal leaking and unmasking of American Citizens by operatives in the Obama Administration.

Why James Comey was fired

The firing comes just a few days after Trump explicitly accused Comey, who served at the president's pleasure, of giving Clinton a "free pass" in its investigation of her emails.
