Nonsense! I hardly ever say how wonderful, smart, and perfect I might be. Actually, I am not--only when I post next to someone like TT or a few others might it seem that way. No, I really don't claim to be anything much above average in a curmudgeonly weird way. But as to Texas, I never had much against the place until I read some of the TX boards and realized you have a really large fraction of bitter, mean nut jobs. Then when I started going to TX for work, I discovered you have an unusually large number of real life Texans who are amazingly full of themselves. Not all, or even a large fraction--but more than I tend to come across other places. So yes, I usually don't go out of my way to visit Texas, with some exceptions. West TX isn't bad, but then it isn't really Texas--at least they disavow being Texans. And of course you DO have some exceptional ladies who are worth the annoyance of the 10-gallon hat JR Ewing wanna-bes.

The loudest ones are always the ones with the least amount of room to talk. Funny how you don't list your city of residence, I wonder why? I really do hope you are one those KC or Kansas Peons, cause "Y'all" just have soooo much more to be proud of let me tell you.
I do have a residence, and no, it is not KC. Ohio, actually, for official purposes. But that is more a technicality than anything. For the last couple decades plus, I have averaged about 300 days a year on the road--thus my "location".
