Just because Trump said there aren't recordings doesn't mean that there aren't recordings.

Trump said what he said because he likely believed that Comey was going to lie. It isn't a coincidence that Comey eliminated the original copies of his memos, and waited several days to "release" them.

The fundamental problem with "notes" is that they are inherently corrupted by the note taker. They are not court transcriptions. If you think that Comey's testimony about their conversations would have been the same if there hadn't been the threat of recordings, you are an idiot.

If Comey had indicated malfeasance in his testimony, Trump would have rolled out the tapes.

Trump didn't get to be a multibillionaire through lack of attention.

I know many on here probably think it funny that Trump implies there were tapes....drug the thing out....and now this.
