Ban-A-Palooza 2018! (Who’s Out? Who’s Still In? Who's On Their Way Out?)

I see the pimp in here defending girls who are either in hisstable or ptential new entrants and attacking others who resisted being pimped

Keep doing you
Can or will anyone explain why it has to be so hush hush over the reasoning of the banning?

I feel like that should be a separate forum so we can all go and read what happened and then bitch about it to each other.

Here is how I think it may work.

Someone calls wakeup a (*^*&**&*. As the mods and admins have many things they do during the course of tending to their forums, they rely on the report to moderator ( RTM) icon.

So someone clicks on that icon and immediately a thread is started in the mod/admin forums.
Then someone tends to it. I'm guessing that would be worthy of 5 points to disrespect of moderators. So whoever applies the points. will post in that same thread that the original poster was given 5 points. So, in this context, every action related to this post is marked with time, date, and whoever tended to the RTM, and the actions related to that post.

So every mod and admin knows what is going on, and they keep it at that level. The poster is notified of the infraction. In essence only the mods, admins, and poster who got pointed knows what is going on. Now if the poster mentions this in the open forums, I'm sure it's not viewed favorably by board management.

One thing a good mod/admin does is not spike the ball in the open forums and talk sarcastically or talk shit to the person who received the points. Like a cop running radar and catches a person going 65 in a 55, one cop will give you a ticket, while another cop will give you a warning. There is no definite way that all mods can moderate the same as another moderator.

I think wakeup posted something of this nature in either this or another thread, and as much is it kills me, he was right.

Moderation can make or break a board. I've said for years that there is a fine line in moderating. What is one members feelings that the board has heavy handed moderating, is another members not enough moderating.

Life goes on, Italia is gone and we will never find out why, it is what it is.
