While I didn't think I was "ranting," I'm the only one to have shown "righteous indignation," so my apologies. I misunderstood. Some of the mysterious incidents I've heard about will remain enigmas, it seems.

I'm not a software tekkie; I did Google our vBulletin power and didn't see anything I recognized that would elucidate, and I didn't find anything but speculation with a "simple" search of ECCIE topics. I must not have used the right keywords. In my experience, an unsuccessful attempt at logging into a membership site doesn't merit account activity, but evidently that varies.

So, some banished members try to hop back on every day as Prince A said, "hoping the ban lifts itself miraculously?" That's more idiotic, frankly.
