What "will we find out"? So either way you'll be "correct"! "Hedge" much?We will find out in November whether or not America supports Trump's agenda, so in that respect, yes, Trump is running in 2018. Just as Obama ran in 2010 and 2014. My prediction is Democrats will take control of the House but will not take control of the Senate, and may even lose a seat or two.
Unlike your predictions in 2016!

He hasn't bowed and kissed ass in the Middle East like Obama. He hasn't freaked out over the "attack" of a rabbit like Carter or gave gravitas to a terrorist. Lets talk about democrats and behaving presidential.
He scraped by in 2016. I believe there will be enough people that voted for him in 2016 that will not in 2020 solely because he has never once tried to act presidential, even a little. He may actual be primaried out and be forced to run as a 3rd party candidate.
Now, having said that, The Democrats are a bag of wet cats. If they cannot come together to defeat Trump, or another Republican in a 3 way race, given Trump is forced to run as a 3rd party, they need to call it a day. Originally Posted by grean

The GOP will hold the House but lose seats. In the Senate there will be a trade off. McCaskill of Missouri will lose, Alabama will go red again, but Arizona looks iffy for the GOP, I do expect Romney to win easily in Utah, but the GOP should hold the Senate if by only a single seat.
And your prediction for the 2018 mid-term elections is??? Originally Posted by SpeedRacerXXX

We both agree that Democratic takeover of the Senate is highly unlikely. I actually see more of a Republican gain than you do.

If someone does not like Trump, or wants him impeached (same thing!), then they may cast the 2018 elections as a referendum on Trump.
Using your logic the 2016 election was a referendum on Obaminable! Two reasons: Trump ran on undoing his legacy and HillariousNoMore was Obaminable's pick, he hired her, and endorsed her as the "head person" in the Democratic Party.
But in the meantime you guys keep score on the 10-20 year old porn star fucking!
Actually, given your predictions on the outcome of the 2016 election and how fast the Russians allegedly helped Trump turn the election around to defeat HillariousNoMore in roughly two weeks (has to be scary that the Russians are that good in influencing U.S. voters, doesn't it?), then only a fool would be predicting the outcome of literally 100's of elections around the country ... so continue to be true to form and predict their results ... even before you know who all is actually going to be the candidates for voting in the Fall. (Do you really want to waste another year orchestrating an impeachment that will result in a President Pence?)
You've never ramrodded a real world campaign have you? (And I'm not talking about "most likely to succeed" or the PTA.) Wishful thinking is not a strategy, and basing one's opinion on the media hype isn't either. The race cards, gender cards, and ridiculing cards are worn out.
I'll rejoin the "conversation" later, my RW obligations with respect to gainful activities call. Otherwise, have a nice day. And since you know me so well you know what that is. Originally Posted by LexusLover

If you don't want to predict the outcome of the 2018 elections just for fun either now or in the future it doesn't matter to me. That way you can't be proven wrong. I was wrong in 2016 along with the majority of the people in this country. So what? For some reason you think it to be of major importance. I don't but if you want to continually bring it up it simply shows your character, or lack thereof.
