Yes, Kubrik can be dark and disturbing, it's the interesting thing about art, that it moves different things inside people. Obviously I don't refer to satanic rituals, but to the concept of consensual sexual parties among the participants, in a safe and healthy aspect, I was originally talking that Killing Kittens organized this type of event and selected the type of people that attended doing interviews. But I do not know anyone who has actually attended these parties. It causes me a lot of curiosity.

I saw a documentary on one of their parties, and while they do wear masks and tuxedos, it looked downright boring compared to Eyes Wide Shut. It was more like a dinner party with a lot of people.

They have an event annually at the Cannes film festival, you should go and report back.

A friend of mine who I lost touch with, an ex-escort, used to attend something similar with her boyfriend years ago, only the group was more strict in who they'd invite and the event cost more. If I recall correctly, it lasted a weekend and didn't involve the masks.
