He's been doing that for at least a couple of weeks, and was doing it again today:
Trumpist Lawyers Tell Georgia Republicans: Don’t Vote in the Senate Runoff!
Pro-Trump attorney Lin Wood urged Georgia Republicans at a rally on Wednesday to sit out the state’s upcoming Senate runoff elections, arguing that the two Republicans in the running first needed to back demands for a special legislative session to investigate Donald Trump’s defeat in the state.
"They have not earned your vote,” Wood said of Sens. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue. “Don't you give it to them. Why would you go back and vote in another rigged election, for god's sake! Fix it! You gotta fix it!"

To say it is a mixed message would be too kind.
My sister lives in Georgia and we were talking yesterday about this and I said I thought Trump coming down so hard on the Governor was a mis-step, another un-necessary diatribe that could only hurt and not help. Well, I got a different perspective because I hadn't realized all the things the Governor should have, could have done short of being a cheerleader for Trump. There were steps he could have taken with in the bounds of his office that he did not do apparently
But if Republicans stay home out of some frustration be it real or imaginary, they will have only themselves to blame for "not fixing it" since they hold all the power in the state.
An example of one of the issues, is that apparently in Georgia, only one person over sees the signature on the ballots. Republicans want the law to say that this must be at least two, one Democrat one Republican and a way to resolve any dispute by a third party. Apparently this was not done in the previous election and is just a common sense, easy thing to fix.
