You have to pay for insurance regardless of whether you get sick or not. I don't think actually using the insurance once you are sick increases it's cost. Am I not understanding what insurance is? Originally Posted by Strokey_McDingDong

That's because the insurance companies pass the costs on through higher rates.

If you work for a larger company, I think their costs do go up if their employees are sickly. Part of that would probably come out of wages. Also, insurance companies aren't covering 100% of COVID treatment costs like they used to. Some people are ending up with large copays when they go to the hospital for COVID, that they didn't have to pay before.

I mean, the vaccine is perfectly safe AND effective.

I sure hope that doctor doesn't get Court Martialed for suggesting anything negative about these vaccines

the vaccine makes people ill for a day or so

it made me slightly so, some others I know were affected even moreso

maybe that's what is meant by vaccine injury?

i doubt that 'clinical severity of disease' has much to do with how the immune response manifests.

asymptomatic patients manifest a quite adequate immune response
The issue is Likely variability between patient to patient.

IMHO

Studies get published - it is teh predominance of evidence over time that confirms conclusions.

I reserve judgment at this point
