Trump wants the U.S. to take over Gaza

I noticed that no one wants to mention the obvious fact that Gaza is basically unlivable because of the destruction.

Trump is actually recognizing the fact that you can't put people in substandard housing and no jobs and expect peace to happen. He is also looking at getting Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Jordan to actually put money into the game and help change the outcome. Originally Posted by farmstud60

using our money and weapons

and now we get to pay to rebuild it

one way or another

what Trump is NOT recognizing is two very important things

first is that virtually the entire Arab world is in violent opposition to this

second is that human history is full of people who are extremely loyal to their homes. They will stick it out no matter what. Including a fight to the death if it comes to this

but MAGA will try to defend everything Trump does

so this conversation doesn't really matter either
They need a Trump tower just like we need another one, how about taking care of the USA first.

Actually all the tunnels the terrorists dug is actually the a huge issue as well.

Not a rhetorical trap. Looking for the folks who don't want our blood and treasure used overseas when it should be used here.

Nothing wrong with the US controlling the Gaza Strip.
After all - it's surely taken US money to quell the fighting.

... Winning! ...

It's part of Trump's grand plan for an American 'sovereign wealth fund'.

First acquisitions for the fund will be Tik Tok and Gaza.

Kushner will be brought on to redevelop Gaza into beautiful waterfront property. Originally Posted by RX792P

Setting up a housing development is world domination? The TDS is strong in this one.

Face it, Trump is a developer. He knows his shit. In ten years will the average Palestinian want to risk his nice condo on the ocean, his children going to college, or his very profitable construction job. Trump giving them options instead of doing the same thing and expecting better results. Most of the Muslims living inside Israel like living there.

I am curious as to what your said about that floating dock that Biden proposed and built with taxpayer money. We all knew that was going to fail. Were you vocal about that?

you omitted the part about first kicking out all the Palestinians and declaring it to be American/Israeli territory, a violation of the war crime called annexation, under Article 49 of the 4th Geneva Convention. although someone in the Trump admin might be able to talk Trump out of it, the bigger problem is Bibi and his far right cabineters going forward with it. at that point, i would support indictments from the ICC and the Hague for anyone responsible.

as to the floating dock, Israel left us with no good options to prevent starvation in northern Gaza-short of military force, which was never on the table. They were blocking aid trucks from ever getting there in a sufficient amount to prevent widespread starvation.

personally, i thought Biden should have said no more weapons until those aid trucks are allowed through. he caved something awful.

on a related topic, i'm wondering how all the "Genocide Joe" Trump voters or stay home voters are feeling about their decision now. buyers' remorse, maybe?
