The Trumpster's deportations

So, by that argument, trump shouldn't have any trouble besting Biden's deportation numbers, right? Why can't he? Could it be because he's completely incompetent? Originally Posted by tommy156

Trump has already secured the border. it's on lock down. the numbers show it. deportations are happening. i find the lame jibber jabber about due process amusing nonsense because it is

I'll weigh in on this. I don't have a single problem with someone with a criminal background that would be flagged and cause them to be "not allowed for entry to the USA", being deported. That is the way the system is supposed to operate. Fast tracking immigrants who are already here, and not giving them due process, is a major issue and a definite problem as it is a right given to anyone who is in the USA. Would these nefarious fools be deported eventually = maybe, hopefully , sure, absolutely. But those who are not of that vane should not the be "babies thrown out with the bath water".

I'd say the thing to have done is to keep enough immigration judges hired or left, (either as temporary assignments or permanent) in place to rule on these hearings, and then adios amigo's, if you are in violation of reasons' to be here.

Nobody wants' illegals here who are in violation of a visa, asylum or a green card applicant. If you are here and are in violation- get the fuck out. I'd say 99.99% of all americans, dems or republicans would agree. But everyone has their day in court, including democrats, republicans and even the lowely asylum seekers. Sadly that may include some chinese massage girls, but for the purpose of this reply - yes we will include the.

However-

Imagine if Baron Trump was told that his mom who was not a full citizen, as is the trump wish on non citizen births in the USA, was told to get the fuck out, and US born people are considered citizens only if the parents are citizens, -as this adminstraton has said should be the law.-

how would that be defended in court by the current adminstration with the suggested law changes?

And what about the dreamers-/ AKA DACA -those who have been here decades who came here illegally, would be tossed out regardless of them being legal tax payers etc. I would suggest that the fine line in the mess, is what needs to be figured out in congress and not by executive order, as no EO, will ever hold up in court and Trump has found this out while trying to be the hardass he wishes he was in the current administration.

My 2 cents

Part of respecting law and order is playing within the rules correctly. One major reason Trump's numbers remain behind is the lack of respect for the rule of law to tackle violations of the law.

Why was Obama better at Trump's core issue without trying and failing with all the exotic and novel hardline tactics? What's missing from the Homan/Miller/Trump approach?
