He was very pro life, and probably equated abortion with murder. From that point of view, he thought it made sense for him to kill people who were responsible for the carnage. I think his reasoning made more sense than Mangione's.

I'm pro-choice, within reason, btw. Many years ago, the protestors at a Planned Parenthood clinic heckled me when when I went in for an STD test.
