Seems to me that the precedent or this sort of shit was firmly set by the previous Democratic administrations. . . .and I do not mean just the early morning visits to one's home. Who was it that had a guns drawn, pr-dsawn no-knock raid on his home with CNN cameras roling? That was well before the Mar-a-Lago raid.

While that doesn't make it right, it did much to normalize it as a recognized and accepted practice.

My recollection of how politicians and their parties worked in the pre-Obama years is that while they might not agree on exactly which road to take, the destination ws tacitly agreed on . . .the betterment of American society and the security of the Nation.

I have not seen that congruence of intent in tis century; not since 2008 or so. It is my belief that the Republican side has had the goals of a better life forAmericans and security for America . . .even though their pathway can be criticized as ineffective by some. But my perception is that the progressive left seeks to undermine, even destroy the Nation, ruin our culture and dismantle our society.

While one can dislike President Trump for his personality and politic style, his intentions seem to me to be that every American should have a good life.

What I get from the progressive left is their vision of an American Dystopia.
