Traitorous democrats refuse moment of silence for Charlie Kirk

Typical leftist response. "He deserved it" and nothing hate and lies.

Schools should not allow partisan politics from either party to use their schools as platforms. Most college kids are very impressionable still and haven't learned important critical thinking skills. Originally Posted by royamcr

Kirk brought busloads of traitors to Jan 6. He deserves zero moments of anything.

Members should THINK before they post. While this is (for some) a very emotional time, and rhetoric is flying in all directions . . .

Members are reminded that the following is not permitted on the site:

Insulting Others
Targeting other members for attacks
Harassing other members, groups of members, class of members, etc
Disrespecting other members on the site
General rudeness toward other members on the site
Threats of violence
Democrats in congress were protesting the moment partly because no moments of silence are given for the recent or any past school shootings.

Despicable..

Why give a moment of silence for Kirk. He’s far less important than kids being killed at school. Republicans don’t give a fuck about schools shootings though. As Kirk said, people dying in gun violence is a fair price to pay for the freedom to have guns. So why give him a moment of silence. He’s far less died for exactly the world he wanted.

I don’t give a fuck about Charlie Kirk. I don’t give a fuck about him being murdered. And I sure won’t pray over his dead body. He can see the bottom of my feet from hell where he’s current joining Hitler and Bin Laden spewing hate speech to a grand applause I’m sure. Originally Posted by 1blackman1

I hope you are this outwardly outraged at the lack of moments of silence for school shootings.

We all know you aren't though. Originally Posted by jayjaychrome

The Democratic Party and Democrats generally have abandoned the ethical and moral grounding of Martin Luther King and the civil rights movement that was their bedrock.

If anyone reading this comes from a lifelong family tradition of voting Democrat, please take a long look at what has become of the Democratic Party in the last two decades. It is not what you or your grand parents remember.

Listen to what the influencers on the left are saying about the assignation of Charlie Kirk and recall the national mourning for JFK, RFK and MLK.

Then look at what the Democratic Party stands for in 2025 and lay that on what you yourself stands for . . .and vote your conscience in the primaries and misdterms.

Trade: The traditional Republican commitment to free trade has been abandoned in favor of protectionism. Under the Trump administration, large-scale tariffs were imposed on imported goods from countries around the world, including China. This marks a significant departure from past support for free-market capitalism.
Fiscal policy: Where the party once prioritized reducing the national debt, the focus has shifted. The 2024 Republican platform does not mention curbing the national debt and instead links economic goals, such as combating inflation, with other policy objectives like cracking down on immigration and lifting regulations on oil and gas.
Foreign policy: Traditional support for international alliances and a strong stance against adversaries like Russia has weakened. Trump has aligned with authoritarian leaders and questioned support for NATO, a position a stark contrast to Cold War-era Republicanism. However, some recent polling in 2025 indicates a potential shift back toward supporting military aid for Ukraine among some Republicans.

ICU as usual is unserious and laughable. Comparing an unapologetic racist and mysoginist Christian nationalist to MLK RFK or JFK. Kirk just tried to mainstream hate speech. That’s not something to be applauded. He doesn’t deserve a moment of silence or national morning. He was divisive and intellectually dishonest. He didn’t strive to make America a better place unless you’re a white male, racist or theocrat. Fortunately his legacy will be forgotten by year’s end. Well be back on Epstein soon enough.
