Um, the truth is we have separation of powers. The president can’t force the dumacrat senators to change their 60 vote cloture rule, referring to the number of votes usually needed in the Senate to end debate on a bill and move to a final vote. Or force them to vote yes.

The senators made the rule about 100 years ago and last substantially changed in 1975.

The American people should call, write, advertise, and vote out the 40+ who are doing this sh*t. And yes 1 or 2 are RINOs. Unfortunately the people most affected are not able to effect change. Airlines and others who do have power are starting to bring pressure but simple yes vote will do it.

And just because the SNAP rules say that non citizens or non permanent residents can’t lawfully obtain SNAP benefits doesn’t mean that it doesn’t happen. We have speed limits and red lights… and those are not obeyed all the time lol.
