Rates, rates, rates !! The economy or market and the desirability decides the rates. And it is a free world out there, freedom of choice. So any provider can set any rates she wants. If she is offering 1/2hrGFE /$100- thats her choice. If another one wants $300-1/2 hr- that is also her choice.
So just dont see the reason for all this big fuss.

If there are no takers for $300- guess what- the rate automatically comes down. It's basic supply and demand.Doesnt mean a provider who lowers her rate b'cos of the economy is devaluating her services. Affordability from the guys is one aspect that helps a provider in setting her rates.

Gist of the story- Let them providers post whatever rates they want, and we hobbyists can decide with our wallets who we want to see. If she is out of my range-- no problem, I will just see one that is in my range. And personally my range is $250/hr maximum !! LOL !
