I think you are conflating the two issues. Service happens at a five star hotel and Super 8 alike - you better treat me nice, treat me like I'm valued, give me a clean room, et al... Now this does not mean I expect a 52" screen TV at Super 8, or slippers and a robe, a nice chocolate mint under the pillow with turn down service at Super 8 - this is like getting fillet mignon at taco bell and no matter how nice and how great the service is, Taco Bell cannot provide you with this. You can get great service anywhere regardless of price.

Actually, the thing I found amazing about your original post was (paraphrasing) $80 isn't worth risking an STD. I would think NO amount of money is worth risking an STD...
