Other than that, judge’s qualifications to practice law (and to be a judge) are usually determined in a peer review. You are not a peer. You have the right to vote (or not) for some judges but no say about their qualifications beyond the opinion you may have. Which means nothing past it being your opinion. Sub-Saharan Africa certainly lags behind most of the world in standard of living today, but this is not due to their being victimized by the Europeans. The standard of living in Sub-Saharan Africa was very low by world standards before they were colonized and it remains that way.

African countries such as Zimbabwe (formerly Northern Rhodesia) were dramatically better off under British colonial rule than under self government today. Under colonial rule Northern Rhodesia was known as the bread basket of Africa. Today, under self government, starvation is widespread.
