Calls or text messages, no way unless there is a pre-arranged agreement.

Emails or PMs to regulars, not a problem.

Cold calls (PMs or emails) to guys you have never met begging to get an appointment, in general, BAD.

In general any lady I have seen before usually has a green light to contact me via PM or hobby e-mail, and yes, it does stroke my ego.

I know several providers that i see on a regular basis or some i used to see on regular basis that send me a short email or text when they are coming to town and I dont mind it at all..But that said they also know what time of day to text and my email that is private ..not a business email address .
Its sort of flattering because they like you enough or enjoy your company to want to see you again ..course the moneys not bad either..I tend to spoil some of my regulars..lol

If I haven't heard from a regular in awhile, I normally send him a note or a text (if he's said that's the best way to contact him) hoping he's having a great week and telling him that I'm looking forward to seeing him when he can tear himself away from work.

If they schedule, great! If not, I get to catch up with them and see what's going on in their lives and typically they do want to see me, just work gets in the way. I would say I maybe do it on average of once a month or less. Only more if they contacted me to meet up and I wasn't able to schedule with them. Then I let them know the next couple of weeks when I'm available.

I did this last week actually as I was going through cleaning out my text messages, and caught one of my faves during an extremely shitty day where he was just getting it from all sides just prior to his birthday. Luckily, I was able to improve his night A LOT and it was a great early birthday present to give himself.

Also, if it's a bigger holiday, I go down my Ok's and wish them a Happy Valentines, Christmas, etcetera with no real expectation of scheduling. It's just a nice way to let them know I haven't forgotten them and wish them a very happy holiday.

I should add that I would NEVER contact a client and say 'things have been slow can ya help me out by seeing me?" I think that is rude and tacky. It isn't like I don't have enough clients on touring anyways when it's busy because I am not in that particular home town. And unless I was positive the client had a hobby phone in which his wife or SO would not find it, I would wish him a happy holiday and say hello but my main choice of communication is e mail.

A well known provider (my ATf—now retired) set up a Yahoo group. She published her availability and there was exchange of messages. When she traveled to Houston, she sent out a general message to my hobby e-mail address. I thought that this worked well as far as balancing cpro-active ontact and descretion.

This was in addition to the classy website she had.

I don't know about now with all the social networking options available today, I don't know what is effective now and "secure" .

Always have enjoyed that, shows me she enjoyed our time together. Also nice to know how her schedule is and if she is close by.

A contact from a lady where there is at least someindication that it is personal is always welcome. Impersonal contacts from ladies who don't participate here and from whom I've never seen--never welcome.

One provider that grew up in Rochester, that lives in Dallas, lets me know when she coming into town to visit, I would help her with her luggage if she wanted. I think it is awesome!

I do think there is little taboo here, as it is the gent that's paying, and well it may feel awkward for the woman reaching out, then charge the man, so I think it should just be regulars, and/or ATFs.
