Alright, this is the last time I'll say this, and then I'll take my own advice:Beautifully stated Smart, maybe there is something to your handle.
There's no need to "stand up" for anything or anyone.
Clearly, it takes a conscious decision to open up a drama thread and read all the way through it. So, in effect, by actually reading it, you are making one (or both) of two decisions:
1. You love drama and want to participate in it.
2. You love being entertained and this drama entertains you.
If you don't fall into either of those two categories, then you simply would not open the thread, would close it if you accidentally opened once you realized what it was, or would not get distracted from your original non-drama-related goal of coming to this site.
I happen to like Whispers - I'm also a secret trashy reality TV watcher (Jersey Shore FTMFW) - and it's pretty much the same effect to me as watching JS. ALL of the posts here in Coed, IMO, are entertainment - I don't come here for informational purposes at all.
So while I agree or disagree with most of what he says, at the end of the day, it all rolls off my back just like all the beads of sweat if someone cruelly forces me to walk up a flight of stairs.
Bottom line: If you didn't want drama, you wouldn't post. You wouldn't start ANOTHER drama thread (I've got 5 of them open right now that have posts in them since last night, btw). You wouldn't really give a shit.
Think about that, guys and girls. Originally Posted by Smart
