At a minimum you were due a warning for being off topic.

At most you deserved points for hijacking a thread.

The only place for the thread to go (on topic), would be a discussion about how safe someone should feel on P411 and other "verified sites". That conversation is not what the Alert Forum is for. By extension of the obvious, the thread should have been moved to coed and you fucktards reprimanded for hijacking........no fuss/no muss
