So that gives you carte blanche to go after a guy and his personal family life?

Keep in mind, however, that while those of us in here need to be accepting of the hobby, that's not to mean our acceptance must be limitless. Someone who drinks too much deserves to be told he's a drunk. Especially when some people are referring to him as their "hero" because he's able to drink 12 shots before falling down. Likewise, someone who's
too immersed in the hobby for what would seem reasonable for a family man deserves to be told. Particularly, again, when he's being referred to as a "hobbying hero" by others.
Also keep in mind, there are 26 votes against reinstating JB, but only 2 or 3 people have spoken up. So don't think i'm alone in thinking an extreme level of involvement is distasteful.
That all said, while i don't know the level of Bob's activities off of the board, his activities on the board (and his comments) seem to reflect a more reasonable level of participation. And that i can certainly respect.
The seal of the powder room is a double edged sword, Doove. Everything is locked in there, including the truth. I don't condemn an entire class because of one bad actor.

Agreed.
Amazing how anytime doove is brought into the mix, this always seems to happen

ADD: And let me just make one final point that i've mentioned before. If Bob were my neighbor, i'm pretty confident i would truly like the guy.
