Reading this entire thread has been an enlightening experience, I screen with lariyah a few weeks ago and definitely got a creepy/over invasive vibe. When I addressed this issue the response was pretty obvious. I said I don't know who is running this account but this is ridiculous, the response I got was "pretty sure it's lariyah"....pretty sure and referring to yourself in third person is at least to me a psychological give away that indeed some weird guy does her screening. His other MO appears to be offering free photo shoots or heavily discounted photo shoots placing these ladies in his presence alone, where he can either outright manipulate them into sex, make them do things in front of a camera they're uncomfortable with, get a freebie, grope them up or any combination of the four. It sounds like to me these ladies need to ban together and do some house cleaning. Let these motherfuckrs know you won't be silent and take their shit. If a photographer handles themselves this way bust them out. If I were some of you ladies, I would look into online review areas like Yelp, and submit a review.

I don't know what's what relative to Lariyah. I've had my suspicions from time to time about whether she has a manager or not but I can be a bit overly cautious and frankly I don't care. I'm a "you're a liar until proven otherwise" kind of guy and thus far I've never felt mislead or unsafe around her. Maybe I'm being stupid for not caring but how she may or may not choose to handle her business frankly does not concern me. She's always been good to me, That said, if she does have a manager or "boyfriend") and is not being treated right that's very sad. She certainly doesn't need a manager. A personal assistance perhaps to help manage her calender which I have no doubt is a challenge. If she allows someone to treat her badly personally or professionally and/or what she does with her personal life is no concern of mine but I do hope this is not the case as I've always found her to be a sweet girl that certainly should not accept being treated with anything other than respect. She and all providers and anyone for that matter deserve to be treated well and reap ALL the benefits of their work.

I've never sensed any kind of danger etc... with her and believe me if I did I'd have no problem saying so and I would never see her (or any provider) again if I did. I do know she has provided references to other reputable providers for me and I've never heard anything other than they spoke to her directly but who knows. As I said, who cares...I have a separate email, phone, etc... for hobby related activities. I would never give out my actual personal or professional information, duh... If that's what it takes to get an appointment, I move on. So not worth the risk. If someone is managed and they don't have my "real" info and I don't ever see said manager and never feel a sense of danger, who cares... ? Someone feel free to educate me further as to why I should, I'm still a bit of a newbie.

I'm rambling here but I'm just saying that I've known Lariyah since I started in the hobby and I've never had a concern nor have I felt any kind of danger and unless someone can provide an example of this happening it seems unfair to speak out on it. I'm not trying call anyone a liar nor do I have the ability to know what is true and what isn't. Some of the lady's with concerns seem like well intentioned folks and I have not had the pleasure of meeting them so I have no clue about their true motives. Thus, I can only assume they are trying to provide a service to all of us which is commendable and appreciated. We all want to avoid any "issues".

Again, I'm simply saying that I've never had an issue or concern with Lariyah and I'm guessing if someone has it would have hit the boards long ago. If ever have an "issue" with any provide believe me I'd be leading the charge to make everyone aware. Perhaps I'm just a sucker but I've seen several "attacks" on Lariyah during my short time in the hobby and they've seemed unjustified based on my experience anyway. Also, not jumping to her defense for any other reason that what's being talked about has not been my experience. I would do the same for any provider that I have seen that has been good to me with "good to me" meaning no problems, drama, danger and delivers services as advertised. Okay I'm off my soap box lol. I do have a day job lol. Again, I don't mean to offend anyone with any of my comments so try to cut me some slack if anything I've said upsets someone, its not my intent to besmirch anyone. I have no vested interest here other than a sense of fairness.

I'm not discrediting or trying to discredit you, Kat or anyone. I'm simply saying that's not been my experience. In terms of who gets the money. What do I care? As long as I get what I came for the rest is not my business. Of course I think the provider should get it all but if the provider chooses to go another route that's their business and I just don't see how that should concern me.

You are correct. I am biased because I've had no issues. If I had or ever do you'd see my bias go the other way quickly. That said, just because I right a positive review means nothing more than that...I had a good experience and does not discredit my opinion or experience either.

Anyway, nothing will get solved in all this discussion. Other folks experiences and opinions are just as valid as mine. If they had a bad experience or are otherwise pissed off about something they should certainly express it. I certainly appreciate to see all the alerts, warnings, etc... helps to keep everyone safe...

Also, nobody has any of my personal information. The most someone could get it my plate #. Not sure what they'd do with that except get my address (if they has such connections) and show up at my house which would be a very poor decision on their part to say the least... Plus I'm not married so no wife and kids to worry about finding out or being in danger. So, I'm open to influence and welcome input but I'm still at the "who cares" if a provider is managed point...

Now from a provider's perspective I can certainly understand not wanting to get references from a manager. You want, need and deserve the straight scoop for your own safety so I'm totally on board with that.
