The most common answer to your question would be Guy Montag, though I have a hard time considering him a protagonist because—to put it bluntly—he was stupid too often, or at least did too many illogical things. He is clearly the central character. Personally I found it hard to feel empathy for him because he was too impetuous and let his boss and the professor lead him around by the nose too often. But if forced to pick one it was Montag; in essence he was the protagonist by default.

The leader of the book people (I don’t recall his name) could have been a better protagonist if Bradbury had developed him more and given him a more major role, but he wasn’t.
