The medical community as a whole are most interested in treating patients that have viable years of life left. Once a person reaches 79 and over they don't look at that way, life is over in their opinion. Now individual Doctors may not have that opinion of course. But doctors are bound to what the Medical community deems as acceptable Treatment or Protocol even if Doctors know it has limited effectiveness. For example If someone outside the medical community found that a person with Dementia could be cured if they ate a dozen Apples a day for six months the Medical Profession would not adopt that as a treatment even if it was proven. The main reason is, no money could be made by a Doctor or Pharmaceutical co. for prescribing a non drug treatment. Accept the fact cures regardless of their origin aren't nearly the money maker as treatments are.

Because of our exchange, I've introduced this new GIF I'll be using from time to time.

I'm living my manifesto. I haven't written it down. And I don't plan on writing it any time soon.

I take my cues from the likes of Antonio Gramsci. To Johnny Carson.

And everyone in between. But thanks for asking.
