Google tacos la banqueta they have 3 or 4 locations in the dfw and also pinochos off of 30 and Carroll close to Columbia. There's a spot called sandwich express off of mockingbird ln and 35 that sells sandwiches burgers and they'll have a different special here and there!!and for breakfast try hypnotic donuts off of nwhwy that place is off da chu chuuu!! True though, moms, aunts, and older sisters.... let me tell you ... PINOCHOS is hands down the best, and the closest to authentic Mexican food I've ever had at a restaurant. I've been to many of the places mentioned, not all, and this place is amazing. I've been eating there for almost 30 years....seriously. It has never grown. Still the same tiny little hole in the wall. You can easily pass this place if you're not paying attention. I've had salsa from other places, trust me, their salsa is authentic. It's not watery picante sauce. Lol! Corner of Columbia and Caroll in east Dallas. Has a picture of Pinocchio on the window. It's also open till 3am on Fridays and Saturdays. Gets packed.

As far as burgers: Burger Island- Abrams and W Walnut. Close to 635/75 area. (Add jalapenos...uuuwwee!)

Enjoy!

I'm feeling fat and happy looking at all the pix.

I wish I could find a good hole in the wall Italian food place.

I lllllllllllllloooooooooooooooo ovvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeeeeeee me some Italian food!
Sadly, there is no such thing in Dallas (or N. Texas).....at least not compared to the places found on every corner in Northern New Jersey.

There are some decent pizza places that serve some good lasagna, meatballs, etc. But they are not "hole in the wall".............try Cane Rosso

or Taverna Rossa.......

or Urbano Cafe
