It’s the Trump Effect in action: gas prices this Memorial Day weekend will be the cheapest since 2021 — and “if you adjust for inflation and rising wages, Americans are actually going to spend the least amount filling up this Memorial Day since 2003, excluding COVID,” according to GasBuddy.
... Blimey! ... When we look at it THAT WAY - the gas prices
are the LOWEST in almost five years! ... ...

... WINNING! ... ...

2.89 at several stations around town, especially in Latrobe.
... Lower - LOWER - and Lower STILL - and IF crooked Shapiro
would drop the gas tax some - prices would be cheaper.

... Thank You President Trump... I'll be sure to pass-along
your thanks today when I see Him.

Several stations under $3 from Smithton to Latrobe to Greensburg.

In Pgh, the avg is $3.37
It's back up to $3.29 in Latrobe. Not sure why, unless they figured that the two places in New Alexandria are still $3.59 and thought they could get in on the action...

I just saw a like of $3.59's on 51 on my way home from dinner. It was appalling
$3.69 today in Greentree. Not a great price.

Conflict in the middle east equals a rise in gas prices. Every one should watch for the price of crude to rise in the short term.

How the Israel-Iran conflict could affect energy prices

Israel's strikes on Iran, and Iran's response, caused a shudder on global financial markets on Friday.

The price of oil surged in particular, up 7% by mid-afternoon on Friday.

That has prompted worries that we could be facing another period of sharply higher energy prices, leading to a bout of higher prices for everything from petrol and food to holidays.
