Just wait until you get your "administrative" home visit to verify your representations.

Ever had any dealings with child protective services or an IRS "home visit"?

How about a home visit ..

.... called something like the "healthy living environment evaluation"!!!

LMAO. The purpose of the visit is to verify the data you have provided, PLUS make sure that your home "environment" is optimized to assure the best health you can have .. and they provide "helpful suggestions" on how to improve your household so you have fewer risks of getting sick (and using benefits !!!!!) .. based on the Human Resource regs !!!!!

They are little behind so you might not get a visit until AFTER the open enrollment is closed. And be sure you follow their "suggestions" so that you can continue to stay "qualified"!!!! Otherwise you might get tossed into the "free market" pool!

And if you whine about not "qualifying" after enrollment is closed you can always just ...

.. pay the fine!!!!!
Just a little propaganda update from the trusted CNN.

http://www.cnn.com/interactive/2013/09/health/map-obamacare/

Actually it is a pretty cool interactive map, they just don't tell you the whole story, or at least in a way that politicians such as Durbin, who was so gleefully touting the "great interest" and sign ups all over the Sunday shows today, can comprehend. Of course, he's not really smart, but neither are a lot of people out touting the numbers that show "interest". Or they don't think we are smart enough to figure it out?
So what is wrong with the numbers? I'm sure everyone here already knew this, but all this "great interest" over the websites are turning out to be mostly for people signing up for FREE MEDICAID enrollment Have to dig, and add and subtract though to understand what all the excitement is about, lol.
For example, the highest state on the map, WA, reports 25k signed up, not really that bad for the first two weeks, right up until the point that you learn 23k were for Medicaid, leaving a paltry 2k for the winner...If you can call it that.
It just keeps getting funnier and funnier

Answers to your questions.

1. The estimates are between 8 and 10 million. Rockhead18 posted a chart by the Congressional Budget Office in one of his threads, you can go find his post.
2. I believe about 90,000 have signed up so far.
3. Of course traffic has fallen off, the vendors are fixing the servers for capacity and correcting the software code glitches. It's kind of difficult to log on if the machine is powered off for repairs. You are stuck on moron.

Your last comment about adult films is too stupid to reply to. Originally Posted by flghtr65

Fill out an application for the Health Insurance Marketplace. When you finish this application, we'll tell you which programs you and your family qualify for. If it looks like anyone is eligible for Medicaid, we'll let the Medicaid agency know so your coverage can start in 2014"

Deceptive, at best.

All those dumbshits who voted for us last time ....

If we wait until open enrollment 2014 it will be right at election time. No bueno !!!!

Interest in the insurance markets appears to continue to be high. Officials said about 19 million people have visited HealthCare.gov as of Friday night.

Of the 476,000 applications that have been started, just over half have been from the 36 states where the federal government is taking the lead in running the markets. The rest of the applications have come from the 14 states running their own markets, along with Washington, D.C.
Americans seeking health coverage through the Affordable Care Act must fill out applications before selecting a specific plan. The forms require personal information, including income figures that are used to calculate any subsidies the applicant may qualify for. More than one person can be included on an application.
The White House says it plans to release the first enrollment totals from both the federal and state-run markets in mid-November.

NWA, You sure do have a lot of interest in this. The doctors where you work will not see a patient with a Medicare or an Obamacare policy. Why do you care?
That's very interesting nwarounder about WA signing up Medicaid folks also.

I'm not trusting the numbers from Yahoo! or the Feds or the other Obama mouthpieces.

If Healthcare.gov were even modestly successful, we'd hear about it night and day in the complicit media. From all appearances, the Obama administration's goal of signing up millions of young, healthy people is woefully short. IMO, they will be woefully short on Dec 15 - even if they have a well-working website.

In the CNN article they say there is 48 MM uninsured Americans. In another article the number near 48MM included non-Americans.

We have hashed that out in OTHER THREADS .. again .. liberals are PRESUMING that those opposed to ObamaDontCare have a short-term memory ... the CBO has already run the projected numbers and the WH has been posting them in "blogs" along with their hinchpersons doing their bidding for them.

Remember: Try the law and see how it works.

There will be "new plans" in January across the board to meet the new Regs.

You just explained why carriers don't KNOW costs so they don't know the premiums.
