To take this example further, and to hopefully clear any misconceptions and/or misunderstandings that I, or anyone else for that matter, may have; would this not lead posters to believe that actual insults and personal attacks, directed towards a specific member, and phrased in an antagonizing manner would be dealt with by those in authority, and with the power to issue said points, with equal, if not more, veracity than one phrased in such a hypothetical (however effective) manner?

Neither the General Conduct Guidelines nor I make distinctions between insults or other violations (personal threats, outing, etc.) being phrased in the hypothetical, subjunctive tense, present tense or any other form.

I like to believe that I have a fairly decent grasp on how things are supposed to work. Thank you for reassuring me that I'm, at least, on the right path, Sarcastro.

Find out firsthand what its like being unable to do right by anyone ever regardless of the topic, get accused of coercing freebies, have rumors started about you, etc. All for no reason other than that you volunteered to referee during recess.
