Tell me, where were those WMD's that were going to be so easy to locate, within close proximity of Tikrit and Baghdad?

Isn't this the point of the discussion?

Larry King Live: 09/11/2001 Interview on CNN:
"KING: Senator Kerry did your -- did you committee on international opertions and terrorism ever actually fear something like this?
"SEN. JOHN KERRY (R), MASSACHUSETTS: Absolutely. Absolutely. But let me join John and I know all my colleagues in just expressing -- I think all of us here in Washington are feeling in very personal ways the loss of what's happened here. I know that I had one friend I know of already on that plane from Boston, and I dread the learning of perhaps others. But for thousands of families tonight, there is just a huge loss, and I think in every American there's a sense -- there's a fury, an intense, burning fury about this and a determination to do what is right about it.
"We have always known this could happen. We've warned about it. We've talked about it. I regret to say, as -- I served on the Intelligence Committee up until last year. I can remember after the bombings of the embassies, after TWA 800, we went through this flurry of activity, talking about it, but not really doing hard work of responding."
Let's see ... you did vote for that one! Right?
Now, here is the one you have also called a LIAR:

"I cannot tell you everything that we know. But what I can share with you, when combined with what all of us have learned over the years, is deeply troubling. What you will see is an accumulation of facts and disturbing patterns of behavior.
The facts on Iraqis' behavior--Iraq's behavior demonstrate that Saddam Hussein and his regime have made no effort--no effort--to disarm as required by the international community. Indeed, the facts and Iraq's behavior show that Saddam Hussein and his regime are concealing their efforts to produce more weapons of mass destruction."
BigTits ... how come you didn't give Powell a call?
Or before that ... Kerry?
I will share with you that when I heard Powell speaking I had the same gut feeling I had when I heard Stevenson's presentation regarding the Bay of Pigs fiasco ... were you "asleep" during those years?
But your "objection" has morphed from "let the inspectors do their job" to it was an "ill-advised" invasion. One is before the event; the latter is afterwards. Was Bush I's incursion into Iraq .. "ill advised"? Was Clinton's missile lobbing "ill-advised"?
I didn't see your response to the Bay of Tonkin question? What was your thought then? Or did you have any on the subject? You don't like Bush, and you didn't when he beat McCain in the primaries. Get over it.
By comparison? What was the cost in human life? Or do you ignore it.
If Bush had annually sent you diamond studded solid gold eggs for your Easter Basket surprise during both his terms, you would still whine.
