Our only chance is either to keep them under 30 and / or get a few key turnovers. Originally Posted by dallasfan

Something's gotta give per those stats if Dallas is to eek out a W. This much we know, Dallas doesn't have the firepower the Saints possess if it becomes a shootout. Of course, unless Amari Cooper picks up where he left off on Turkey Day and goes for 400+ in receptions.....

(yes, yes....I know that's him as a Raider.....I posted it simply because ya gotta admit, the dude is crazy fast, right....)

What worries me is the saints have the top run defense in the league. Now they have played some pretty weak teams so that stat may be skewed. Plus teams are probably throwing so much trying to catch up.

We need to run the ball and control the clock / shorten the game and make a few stops on defense.

In my best Jim Carey voice, I’m just saying we have a chance.

The bigger stats to be concerned about is SCORING POINTS: On defense the Saints are middle of the league (15th) allowing 23.3 ppg. On offense, however, they are Number One in the NFL....scoring 37.2 ppg.

The Cowboys only chance is to run, run, and run some more. Hold onto the ball, burn clock, and reduce total game possessions for the Saints. When on defense, bend, don't break....force field goals or punts when you can. And cover Michael Thomas for god's sakes.....

The other key as you noted is to force turnovers (and that's gonna be a huge challenge)….the Saints are tied for 5th place in the league with a +8 in the give / take column.

Lastly....pray Drew Brees misses the team bus to AT&T Thursday night.

Elliot has 6 100+ games and is leading the league with over 1000 yards for the season. It seems Cooper has turned out out to be a pretty good decision thus far. So Dak, Cooper & Beasley may take advantage of the saints defense 285 allowed yards.

Maybe the run game sets up the pass game and vice versa.

Garrett may give the left tackle some help picking up the rush before Dak is flattened too many times.

Dak could perform like his rookie season too.

Dallas could win.

Maybe.....

Maybe Allegra could trade in her Cowboys cheerleading outfit for a Saints one, and then lure him away from the game.

And it won't be that close...garbage time scores.

I think you should replace "at least" with "will", given your 27 points prediction, and the fact that 3 TD's with accompanying PAT's, and 2 field goals = 27 points
