+ Trees has never asked for or received any "mod rate" - - Whispers comments to contrary are unsupportable lies

+ There is no-such-thing as a "mod rate" - - providers charge for time. Occasionally they offer review (or early bird) specials. Trees has used every review as opportunity to show appreciation to the provider and to inform this Community. Never has a review been used for nefarious purposes.

+ It's nearly impossible to "prove a negative." Peeps who make false allegations (of say, sexual harassment) cause the accused to lose their jobs even when allegations are groundless.

+ Trees moderated and hobby'd fairly, honestly and with integrity and gets invited back.

+ Not all, but most providers have (and continue) to confide in Trees, solicit advice and meet for coffee or a meal. It has been a great honor to gain trust and sometimes friendship which arises, essentially, from a highly-personal business transaction.

We have witnessed throughout history, and now here, that public stonings and lynchings, McCarthyism and "convictions" resulting from false and perjured claims.

Trees nice, but not perfect. Mistakes have been made, no one is perfect. But Trees has never once abused any power or authority and statements made to the contrary are scandalous lies that have been introduced by a sick, grotesquely obese man who has completed a promise made when Trees first became a moderator. Whispers threatening emails/PM will be paraphrased here.

It is possible to act and conduct ones self respectfully, fairly and with integrity and still be subject to false accusations. Not only on an internet hooker board, but in the RW, at places of employment and in the public sphere.

In retrospect, Trees regrets not heeding the sensible advice of Spacemtn, our senior most mod who urged mods keep very low profile. Although Trees did not keep low profile, every Member (provider or hobbyist) has been treated fairly, honestly and with respect.

Any Member that might consider becoming a moderator here, should read Trees reviews, posts and this thread and pause to think about how difficult and expensively reputations are built, and how easily (even with zero evidence amidst propagation of lies) reputations can be eroded.

Trees holding head high, staying honest and honorable and will do best to hold nose because this shit does stink.

Well what has been done can never be undone, at least not on this board. If you are guilty and it is proven, without a doubt then that is that, do members really care, probably not. But if this does turn out to be a farce I would think that the accusers offence is greater then the accused. And reputations should be tannish equally. But who knows maybe all the supporters (droves and droves) will come to the defense of the WK and back him up, or not. What a soap opera.

If you or I were guilty of theft of services you could be damn sure our handles would be posted in alerts as they should be. Trees is a retired Mod no more dangerous than you or I to a girl's business at this point. My decision to pop back in came after reading a comment by Ebony Jasmine Love Austin in regards to missing some of the old timers that could be controversial with a purpose.

Feel free to ask her as we had an exchange and she knew ahead of time I was planning a return...... Some Houston folks were having some fun here in Austin forums and it was entertaining to a point.

Once I was here I posted a thread and asked what I missed and suggested people PM me if they want.....

When I saw the Alert on Trees BY Trees I got curious.....
