Just watched Upgrade and it was really entertaining.

First time I saw this I was about 8 years old. This is playing in IMAX theaters across the USA this week and it's actually the original 161 minutes version that premiered on April 2nd, 1968.
I didn't understand it.
This is still the BEST science fiction movie ever made!!
It's coming back to IMAX on August 24th for its 50th anniversary.

It has already won the Palme d’Or and the Jury Prize at Cannes. Spike is going to clean up.

We all know that just because a movie wins an award doesn’t make it a good movie. Originally Posted by dallasfanI can think of a few Best Pictures that sucked:
I can think of a few Best Pictures that sucked:Some of your choices are not the better if the two movies (e.g. The Right Stuff). And there are reasons some of the other films didn’t win (e.g, Apocalypse Now, L.A.confidential). But most fundamentally, you can have two outstanding movies in a year where both films are truly Oscar worthy (Kramer/Apocalypse/All That Jazz and Norma Rae); and Dances/Goodfellas).
Gladiator (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon should had won)
The English Patient (Fargo should had won)
Kramer vs. Kramer (Apocalypse Now should had won)
Terms of Endearment (The Right Stuff should had won)
Out Of Africa (Prizzi's Honor should had won)
Titanic (L.A. Confidential should had won)
Chicago (Gangs of New York should had won)
Dances With Wolves (Goodfellas should had won)
Shakespeare In Love (Saving Private Ryan should had won)
And every Best Picture winner since 2008 inclusive were all junk Originally Posted by CG2014
