The Walking Dead

Interesting / entertaining opening to last night's TWD season finale.....Morgan kicking ass as cool and calm as David Carradine used to do in his Wild West wandering monk days (ie: the old TV series, Kung Fu). Really wish he'd finished the job on that pair of murdering degenerates.....now they have photos of Alexandria (Q: anyone have an idea if Aaron's backpack also included a detailed map leading them to the community? If so, that's unfortunate.....but fodder for next season's show, I suppose.)

All in all, a satisfying ending IMO. Wish Gabriel and Nicholas had both bitten the dust, too, (however) the writers must have a purpose for both in Season 6. We'll see, right?

Wrapping up....it appears that sweet, sexy little Jessie is now a widow. Wonder if she can get past the fact it was Rick who was put Pete out of his (and her) misery? If so, she should exercise a little caution: Rick hasn't been laid in god-knows-how-long.......with all that backed up tension / fluid he might give her a severe case of whiplash the first time she slobbers his knob......haha
lol.....funny, I was thinking the same thing last night, catman.

Even though McBride (turns the big 5-0h this May) is twice as old as most providers I normally see, I bet a roll in the hay with the cool, confident, sexxxy Carol would be a hoot. And being she hasn't been tapped since the apocalypse took place (or since Ed bit the big one), she would be one wild ride.

Carol is now my favorite character. Coolest chick ever. I'd fuck her just so I could say I did. Even Melissa McBride on TTD was kinda hot. Originally Posted by boardman

They said goodbye to Pete on TTD and talked about what a sweet guy the actor is in RL. So I think Rick likely managed around Abraham's grip. Interesting what you said, HV, about the potential opposition between Rick and Morgan now that the latter has gone all Jedi/Zen Master. Hopefully more of a balancing out than a battle of wills.

Great ending. I read about the Wolves coming. I wonder if it's the group who was exiled from Alexandria that Aaron was talking about.

Negan won't be introduced for another season or two at least.

I don't like Father Gabriel at all but I think what they did with it was pretty cool. Maybe he'll come around. Maybe.

sidenote: has anyone noticed that at least 3 or 4 of the show's actors are British? It's amazing how they change their accents to the Southern twang so smoothly.[/QUOTE]

Well Jax on sons anarchy is british
the fire chief on chicago fire is british
lt casey same fire show is a aussie
norman from bates motel is british!

You're prolly right on that time frame, THN. It's just a matter of "when" that's all.......

I think Morgan will understand Rick's actions. He may not like it but I don't think it will cause major problems between the two.

We've seen Gabriel seem to repent once before when he burned his collar. Even though he is a pastor he seems to have a devious nature. Trusting him until he proves himself trustworthy is suicidal. Even then he could easily turn on a friend. It's who he is.

Maggie has bought the coolaid. Instead of dealing with Gabriel or warning Rick. So, Rick can deal with Gabriel, she has a prayer meeting with him. It will come back to bite them (as usual)

Morgan let those two Wolves live. It will come back to bite them (as usual).

Rick closes the book on Pete. Pete will not be biting anyone.......there's your sign.

Ok so who's watching the new summer series Fear the Walking Dead. Very wise of them to add a seeies because I need my fix after a month of crappy tv. Bates Motel is back though, and getting pretty good. The storyline is just so slow! Get on with it Norman, you murdering bastard.

I'll be watching.
I'm interested in the back story as I think most people are. Looks like the new show starts at the outbreak where TWD started with Rick waking up and just a couple of glimpses pre outbreak (Michonne) and during the early stages.
I loved the ending! Finally TWD did not disappoint. I can't wait for next season.
Gawd.....last night and no TWD to look forward to after the end of a busy weekend with the fam. Felt a little weird but oh, well....time for a break, I suppose.....did give me a chance to relax with the kids and catch up on some much needed, brainless movie-watching all day long....
Have you guys seen any of the webisodes on amctv.com?

They're some short backstory/sidestory clips. The actors aren't anything great (except BJ in Cold Storage lol). But there's one webisode that follows a family at the very beginning of the Zombie Apocalypse. The ending of it is pretty damn cool.

It'll be neat to see if and how the writers of the new show tie in linear tidbits of the current show.
I've seen the webisodes and the acting is very shitty. How much do they pay those people.
