How can that happen? If I send a provider an email... Originally Posted by Wakeuр

I did reread it, and I assumed it was a mistake, because now it makes no sense at all...what is she turning me in for?
If this is a 5 page discussion some of you need a new hobby.
So the official mod stance on this is, a member can reveal any of his own ros comments to anyone he chooses and he is in violation of no rules?

The only one who can be penalized is the unauthorized recipient of said ros comments and that's only if she/he reveals it ON the board?

What if she posts the info on a public blog or another website?

What if she forwards the info to someone in a private email?

ARE YOU FUCKIN' SERIOUS?

12 pages, already? So to capsulize, whatever the rule is, and however it's ultimately interpreted (or not), Wakeup wants to bend one of the Houston mods over the rail. I get it!

DeD, you may want to think about changing your avatar. He only posted that hidden desire after seeing that suggestive photo repeatedly. ijs

...and Boardman's still a pussy, and dh still has to buy lunch

So, I was correct........I wonder how I knew that when I am not a modtard........heh

Spirit13, I know about the LIFETIME issue. Because, I went through it........lest you forget, I have been banned multiple times on this board.

Thank you Trey. I thought this was settled on page 2 when I posted the above. It is OK for a reviewer to share his ROS with that provider only. If she comments or copies that ROS anywhere, then she is in violation. Originally Posted by Pistolero

Cut and dry here it goes so we have no confusion:

As I posted on page one (And now confirmed by Admins and Owners).... as the author you are free to share what YOU AND YOU ALONE post as ROS information to the provider in question. YOU AS THE AUTHOR/Sharer are NOT in violation..... BP sharing his review of TheCFE to TheCFE is not in violation. IF Said provider then posts that she knows the ROS from said author of the review in question, or posts ROS information on the public board SHE IS in Violation of guidelines and is subject to punishment. TheCFE posting that she was made aware of the ROS from BP and posting as much is in fact in violation and stands to be punished for such. To reiterate: BP is fine, no rule violation, but by sharing allowed TheCFE to hang herself essentially. If she decides to post the contents of the ROS on another website, she will be asked to remove the comments or face the possibility of losing her VP status here, or worse.

In regards to Paid Lifetime Premium Access.... You share ROS/ML/PA content other than expressed above you ARE in violation of the forum guidelines and stand you have your PA access REVOKED! You buy your season tickets to the games and you throw a beer on Ron Artest, you lose your seats AND your money. Same applies here. You forfeit your PA because you violated the terms of use of said purchase. You can buy it again once you're back on the board, but you keep it so long as you adhere to the guidelines as stated. Same goes for "Earned PA" from reviews. If you have 6 weeks from a review you JUST wrote and get caught sending out ML info to those who are not supposed to have access, you lose all of your PA.

This the way we are all (the Houston staff) going to treat this moving forward because that is the way we were told by the Admins and Owners to do so. Interpretation of guidelines by the mods is NONEXISTENT when the interpretation is set down by the Admins and Owners on a specific case like this. Once we get THEIR interpretation on a guideline, that then becomes the ONLY one as far as we are concerned in handling it.

I hope that helps.

Perfect. Update the forum guideline, and all is good. Thanks guys.
The way that I understand it is, that comments made by you are yours to share as the only infringement on private content is your own..... that being said, as soon as the info is posted it is considered PA info and if the provider then posts what she's been told then she is in violation of the guidelines and is subject to the resulting punishment. Now, if that same trick cut/copy and paste ROS info from SOME OTHER TRICK's review playing WK to his Hooker princess letting her know what someone said about her then, yes, that's a problem....but that's me Originally Posted by DickEmDown

Oh, and we (Mods) can't update any forum guidelines...that, again, is above our pay grade.
