What worries me is the saints have the top run defense in the league. Now they have played some pretty weak teams so that stat may be skewed. Plus teams are probably throwing so much trying to catch up.
We need to run the ball and control the clock / shorten the game and make a few stops on defense.
In my best Jim Carey voice, I’m just saying we have a chance.

The bigger stats to be concerned about is SCORING POINTS: On defense the Saints are middle of the league (15th) allowing 23.3 ppg. On offense, however, they are Number One in the NFL....scoring 37.2 ppg.
The Cowboys only chance is to run, run, and run some more. Hold onto the ball, burn clock, and reduce total game possessions for the Saints. When on defense, bend, don't break....force field goals or punts when you can. And cover Michael Thomas for god's sakes.....
The other key as you noted is to force turnovers (and that's gonna be a huge challenge)….the Saints are tied for 5th place in the league with a +8 in the give / take column.
Lastly....pray Drew Brees misses the team bus to AT&T Thursday night.
