The most harmful thing you could catch was the clap. Dr. could clear that right up with a shot.
Crabs were a minor issue.
Birth Control was the big "Must Do" thing and the ladies had those.

In over 35 years of the hobby I was offered bbfs 3 times and declined each time. All 3 were from ladies I had seen multiple times. It wasn’t a problem, each time she said ok and I suited up and had fun. Once with a lady on top and her really working for a big o for herself she fucked the condom right off my cock but that is as close as I ever came to bbfs.
