But “one doesn’t make fun of opposition?”

WHAT THE FUCK PLANET ARE YOU LIVING ON LL... More than ever, I’m convinced you really are a basement dweller with no life. Originally Posted by Yssup Rider

Do you have a "basement" or do you just stay "hold up" in the shitter?

The Sun will appear to rise from the East. Care to argue the point?

There's room for pity, since he's obviously upset because he and his family are about to lose their ObaminableCare! It's shameful he doesn't take care of them adequately.

But what's more "shameful" is he takes household money to the rub girl and .....

.. they (the Astros) were being asked about it right up to just before the game ... some remarks were broadcast ...

... If you actually believe one throws the switch and it's gone, .... you simply ignore reality.

Hitting is focus, enthusiasm, response, and strength.

So is pitching for that matter!

It's not making any "excuse" ... it's a negative distraction ... and it has an impact on mind-body coordination and the adrenaline necessary for the response.

Get your head out of a stats book and listen to the conversations about emotions, enthusiasm, rhythm, and focus (even in game 3 ... when the Astros got ahead by 4 ... there was discussion about the pitcher's mental processes when pitching.

Or just keep playing an electronic game of baseball! Originally Posted by LexusLover

And if you think the key to our success is not pitching you are an even bigger fool than I thought....why do you think we got a frontline pitcher like Jason V? His hitting?

You are showing very little knowledge about baseball LL. Stick to your shithouse lawyering advice....it got a 100 men arrested in Houston last week!

Amen. He needs to stick with sports he knows, like figure skating and field hockey.

And oh yeah! Don't forget SHARK FISHING!

Interesting comment I heard....

" These two teams are great teams.... if they played each other 50 times in a row..neither team could win 3 consecutive games. "

If anyone really cares about the Series, Keuchel is struggling in the first inning. The park is electric. Maybe a case of the jitters. He just Struck out Bellinger. Bases full 2 down. LA just scored 2, error by Gonzales. Another fuck up by the Stros. 3-0. Should have been out of the inning. Puigler hit a dribbler to end the inning. He’s 2 for 17.

Gurriel just hit a 3 run bomb. He crushed it. Kershaw isn’t the second coming of Koufax. Nope

Bellinger with a backatcha 3run dinger. That kid has a sweet swing. Exciting game.

Altuve with a 3run dinger! What a fucking game!

Holy shit. That’s two of the craziest, wildest games in WS history in one series.

And Baseball’s new Jewish hero walked it off for the hometown nine.

I guess if you need to win a game on the road, you Got to feel pretty good about having Verlander on the bump.

What a fucking game!
Fantastic game. Another one that could have went either way untill the very end.

I don't know how this Series will go down as one of the greats, but for the moment, it is as exciting as baseball can be.

The Astros started off pretty sloppy. Physical and mental errors. Keuchel clearly didn’t have his best stuff. Looked like LA was going to blow them out. But Kershaw forgot how to throw strikes and Curriel just crushed one. That woke the Astros up. I think the game lasted 5 1/2 hours

The key to the Astros success is offense, and the pitcher only holds down the other offense. You neglect to factor in game 2 results. Besides .. if you go back and actually read what I posted you will see I said:

Post # 176 (Yesterday 545 a.m.) ... and no one will know how the events of the day affected the outcome. It seems impossible that they didn't have some influence in the intensity, enthusiasm, and emotion that is needed when two similarly talented teams collide.
Even Budman!

And I added ...

Curriel made his peace with the object of his off-humor, and God.
